I have known Mariane since we went to school together many years ago. Over time, we lost touch, but I had the pleasure of spending a week with her and other friends in Vilanova, Spain a few years ago, and when I came to visit friends in the UK last year, Mariane found the strength to travel to Bolton and join us.
